Lyricsync: play any song, Lyricsync hears it, finds the words, and keeps them in time.
Live lyrics for whatever is playing: a Spotify tab, a YouTube video, the radio across the room. It works in your browser with nothing to install, and it catches up even if you start halfway through a song.
From a few seconds of sound to words in time
You don't type the song name. Lyricsync listens, works out the song and how far into it you are, then scrolls the words with the music.
-
0–5 s
Listen
It hears a few seconds of the song from a browser tab, your whole screen, or the microphone.
-
about 0.5 s
Name the song
A Shazam fingerprint finds the track and the exact moment you're at, even halfway through a chorus.
-

Find the words
Nine lyric sources are asked at once. The first lyrics show within a second, and better-timed ones replace them as they arrive.
-
every 10 s
Stay in time
It keeps listening and nudges the timing. Skip, pause or change the song and it catches up.
Lyrics from LRCLIB, YouTube Music, Musixmatch, NetEase, Kugou, Shazam, Megalobiz, Lyricsify and Genius.
Four ways in, one lyric view
- Listen to a tab
- Play music in another tab (Spotify, YouTube Music, JioSaavn, SoundCloud) and share that tab's sound. Chrome and Edge on a computer.
- Listen with the microphone
- For a speaker, a car stereo or a party. Works on phones too.
- Paste a YouTube link
- The video plays next to the lyrics, locked to the player's clock.
- Open an audio file
- Drop an MP3 or M4A. Lyricsync names it and follows the playhead.
Float the lyrics. One click pops the current line into a small window that stays on top of every other app, so you can keep singing while you work, game or browse.
Read it the way you sing it
Hindi and Punjabi songs are published in whichever script the uploader used. Choose how you want to read them; Lyricsync converts each line and keeps its timing.
Dil ki dhun pe chalte rahe
Sur men sur mila le
These lines were converted by Lyricsync's own transliteration, the same code that runs on every song.
Also on Windows and Android
The browser is the quickest way in. The apps go further: they hear your system audio directly and float over everything.
-
Windows 11
A glass overlay that stays on top of every window and hears whatever your speakers, headphones or Bluetooth speaker play. It has a tray icon, global hotkeys and a click-through mode.
Download for Windows (.zip) Needs Python 3.10–3.12: runsetup-windows.ps1, thenrun.bat. -
Android
A floating lyric bubble over any app. It follows your music player's position, or listens with the microphone for music from somewhere else.
Download the APK Full version The full version reads your player directly; Google Play Protect may block it. -
Any browser, or as an app
Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on a computer or phone. Install it and it gets its own icon and window, opens without a connection (the demo song plays offline), and on Android it shows up when you share a YouTube link. Tab listening and floating lyrics need Chrome or Edge on a computer.
